Although sidelites are often part of an entryway that also includes door glass and possibly a transom, there are many homes where sidelights flank a solid door. Stained or beveled glass works very well in these openings, too. Whether you want something purely decorative, or wish to protect privacy without compromising the light, we can help.
The entryway at left has narrow sidelights where textured clear glass admits light while providing a measure of privacy.
The sidelites at right use bevels, textured glass and colored glass to illuminate the interior without blocking the view from either side of the windows. This home in Palo Alto does not directly face the street, so obscuring outsiders' view through the glass was not a major issue.
The sidelites to the bottom left use large gluechipped bevels and textured clear glass to admit light without compromising privacy for this house in Pacifica.
